Mark Flanagan was born in Liverpool and started playing ukulele at the age of eight before getting his first guitar when he was 12 and joining his first Band aged 15. He jammed with Jools Holland at the Edinburgh Festival in 1988 and has played with his 18-Piece Rhythm & Blues Orchestra ever since.
